Now, don't get too excited I haven't been doing anything radical like sewing. I just wanted to share the crop of lovely fabrics that I have been receiving from my swappers.
These are from Christine,
These are from Carolyn,
These are from Christi, who included a couple of extra strips - thanks Christi!
And today I received this package from Laura of the Sproutz Store. I was so excited to find a little wad of Astor Manor by 3 sisters inside the parcel! Thanks Laura - I love this fabric!
And thank you to all of my swappers! It has been huge fun waiting to see what the postie would bring each day. I will be sad when I've received the parcel from my last swapper...I'll have to start buying fabric again to get my postie fix! Greg won't be happy.
Hey Shontelle, I came to see if you had posted any progress on your snowball quilt. I haven't started...maybe this weekend. It was so fun to be in your swap group. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHi Shontelle! It was fun to see my fabric here. And I'm glad you posted what fabrics you got from whom. I didn't do that so I had forgotten. I'll keep this as a reference. I got my last package today...you'll get yours soon. I love the fabrics.
ReplyDeleteHi Shontelle! Just found your blog - so cute! This is my first swap and it's been so much fun getting everyone's packages. I am floored by everyone's generousity and creativitiy! This was my first swap so I'm excited! I don't want to take credit where credit isn't due but I wasn't the one that sent the extra strips. I think they may be from Christine but in all my excitement, my envelopes got tossed so I'm not sure whose was whose! Darn, I will be a more organized swapper next time! Thank you, thank you ladies - this is indeed going to be a very special quilt.
ReplyDeleteExtra fabric wasn't from me, either. I got one extra 2 1/2" strip from Gael...yeah, I tried to keep things organized but I just got in there and started cutting and lost track of who sent what. I'm with Christi...I'll be much better organized next time.
